🗑️ Data Deletion – LabelCheck

📱 Where Your Data Is Stored

LabelCheck stores all user data locally on your device.
We do not store your personal data on external servers.

This includes:

• Preferences (diet, allergens, lifestyle)

• Scan history

• Cached product data

📷 Camera & Processing

• Camera is used only for scanning barcodes and ingredient labels

• All captured data is processed ephemerally (temporarily)

• Images and scan data are not stored after processing

❌ How to Delete Your Data

You can permanently delete your data at any time:

1. Open the LabelCheck app

2. Go to Settings → My Preferences

3. Tap “Reset All Data”

4. Confirm deletion

⚠️ What Gets Deleted

When you reset your data:

• All preferences are removed

• Scan history is deleted

• Cached product data is cleared

This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

📩 Request Data Deletion

If you need help or want to request deletion manually, contact:

🔒 Data Retention

• Data is deleted immediately upon reset

• No data is retained by LabelCheck after deletion
